The 2008 Rainbow Ball is expected to enhance its already enviable reputation as being the most anticipated charity events on the Melbourne social and fund raising calendar.

In 2007 Ann Peacock from the Sunday Herald Sun named the Rainbow Ball as one of the two best charity events of the year! Click here to see the 2007 Rainbow Ball. This year's event will be held at the Crown Palladium on Saturday November 15 beginning at 7pm. The theme of this years event is "Escape Beyond The Rainbow" because there will be on offer some truly amazing travel experiences to try and win or purchase.
Guests will have a 1 in 200 chance to win the Ultimate Travel Experience as well as holidays to Las Vegas staying at the iconic Bellagio Hotel as well as a relaxing trip for two to the Maldives.

Victorian Anaphylaxis Management Bill
The Victorian Government has taken a leading role in the field of anaphylaxis and food allergies by preparing legislation to enforce the management of anaphylaxis and food allergies in school and preschool environments. A range of information can be found on ASCIA’s website, including copies of the Anaphylaxis Management Plans, which are to be completed by your GP and provided to your child’s pre-school or school.

A free information kit has been designed by Maribyrnong Council to assist food businesses in developing their own allergen food matrix.
