The Ilhan Food Allergy Foundation's mission is to:

• Work with hospitals, research institutions and community organisations that support Australian children who suffer from food allergies and anaphylaxis.
• Work with other foundations, corporations and organisations to support children and young people with food allergies.
• Establish sound, collaborative working relationships with the agencies financially supported by the Foundation.
• Actively seek and fund cutting edge research and educational projects in the community that the issues of anaphylaxis.
• Be aware of current issues and research in the areas the Foundation has identified of interest or in areas we actively support.
• Work cooperatively with all stakeholders in areas we support - including community agencies, government, other foundations and the client population.
